Austo and I started Cookie Run Kingdom this weekend because of this funny encounter:

While k3soju was playing Cookie Run Kingdom on his stream, MortDog joined the chat and said that he and his family also play. Soju said, “No offense, and I’m not trying to assume, but your daughter and wife are probably casuals, right? You guys should join my guild… it’s like OP because of how many crystals you get”. Mortdog then replied with “oh we aren’t casuals” and casually drops a picture of his team with multiple maxed out legendary cookies… a.k.a he told Soju to sit down.

Well, if Mortdog, a respected and serious game developer, plays this CRK game, I had to try it out for myself… and boy, this shit is pretty fun. The cookie gacha animations are my favorite, and it’s done a pretty good job at satisfying my pulling urges. In fact, now I only wish Genshin had pull animations, or at very least, a voice line that comes up whenever you get a 5 cost.

Anyways, here are the first cookies I’ve pulled. The first ever epic cookie I got was Prophet cookie (the one that looks like Heimerdinger). I got pretty lucky and managed to get Sea Fairy and Moonlight — both of which are legendaries. The Pure Vanilla Cookie is the one I chose from the Might of Ancients, because I’m pretty close to having enough soulstones for HollyBerry. Unclear how long I’ll stick with this game, but so far, I’m having a blast. Till next time~
