Goodbye downtown San Jose!

Things I’ll miss:
– Going to Dr.Funk on a weekday to enjoy the wacky tiki bar environment and the fruity cocktails. (R.I.P siren’s shore)
– Walking to Luna’s Mexican Kitchen for a fantastic weekend brunch. The Paloma + Steak Fajitas are exceptional.
– Visiting Paper Planes for their juicy burger and addicting Koji wings. Holidays just won’t be the same anymore without going to their Christmas popup and festive drinks.
– The fantastic views of the mountains we are able to see everyday from our living room.
– The way the light floods through our windows everyday. The warm afternoon sun fading into the cotton candy skies as the sun sets is something I’m always going to miss.
– The amazing staff and front desk people that always joked about how many packages we ordered

Things I definitely won’t miss:
– The commute home (40 mins?!?!)
– Carpet floors
– The pool (only ever used it once)
– Wheeling groceries all the way up from the garage, up the elevator, and into our apartment
– Our wifi randomly breaking every few months
– The unreasonably greedy landlord
– How there wasn’t ever a good place to put our trash can
– Our drumming upstairs neighbor that would drum frequently at 2pm

It’s time for our suburban arc to start! Till next time~
